There's no doubt Putin miscalculated but you gotta also take into account that Russia is trying to minimize civil causalities as much as possible to maintain support domestically.
So they are playing it safe. If they went full Shock and Awe like America did in Iraq this would be a different story. But this war just started. It took 3 weeks for America to take Iraq.

It’s not about discussing multiple things at the same time, it’s about choosing to repeatedly FOCUS on something that is intended to make the victim look bad. There’s a reason Putin used this same thing as his public justification to enter Ukraine. You can’t really be that ignorant.

It’s clear that this isn’t going the way Putin thought it would and his country is turning on him. At this point, the best way is to make sure the Ukrainians have everything they need from a miltary standpoint and to make sure they hold out for as long as possible and to inflict as many Russian casualties on their land until the oligarchs and the other government officials see the writing on the wall and the civil disobedience outside their windows and yank Putin from his seat of power.
Things are happening the way they need to right now.

Most of these troops are green teenagers based on a wide range of stats including descriptions of POWs, observed combat tactics, and an odd break from Russian operational doctrine considering the massive lack of supporting elements and supportive firepower as a whole
That combined with clearly growing problems regarding supply that you’re saying is very significant regarding the current effectiveness of Russian forces right now and what might be soon to come
