streamers have seemed to completely change the revenue streams for these companies, and hopefully they don't feel like they can just coast on streamers for money while they bleed the guilds out. i mean, i know most streaming platforms barely make profit but my understanding is that that is because they pump hundreds of millions into originals to try and steal subscribers from each other

The top actors rely on smaller actors and writers infinitely more than top artists need upcoming artists
