how will this affect award shows?
I heard the Emmys might try to delay a little bit in hopes that the strike will be over by then.
hot take maybe but that sounds kinda dumb lol
if you’re not associated with the union and studios aren’t paying you just post whatever you want, the actors ain’t gonna personally thank or attack you for posting/not posting
F***in insane man. If you distributed just 1/3 of this money to writers, every writer in Hollywood would be eating good

The top 5 highest paid CEOs made an accumulative of $1.4 billion in the last 5 years
1/3 of that amount is $480 million dollars
If you distributed that among 3,000 writers, each writer would be paid $160,000 a year
I never want to hear the argument that studios cant afford to pay their writers
at least in this persons case they said they’re going to join the union someday i still think it’s dumb of them to deny you entry if they find out you hyped up a movie you wanted to see during the strike but idk
So is there any way for us to help out? Like what happens if we all cancelled our Netflix shows at once for one month?
I don't get it

I pray that day comes.

What comes after post strike Hollywood? Worst case scenario edition
Look at the comments bringing up the fact that they do not like LGBT content even though it's not that much in reality. General audiences don't care about this strike
AI is definitely being integrated whether we like it or not
1. A lot of edgy based content taking us back to late 90s and 2000s work that has aged horribly
2. After the success of the Qanon funded movie is Hollywood going to recruit more conservatives outside of unions to make medium sized budget films?
3. New batch of non union workers brought in for the same pay that's currently being paid.
Opportunity knocking
if paramounts doing it now too i think iCarly will probably start airing on cable as well

This is going to be the move for a lot of streaming shows this fall. Already got Ms. Marvel, wouldn't be shocked if they put Secret Invasion or Andor on ABC. NBC is probably going to get something like Bel Air, Max already airs some streaming shows on TNT.
lmao what
They’re f***ing evil dawg
One of the rich actors should rent a huge ass water truck to block the sun and give these people free water
