    1. Travis Scott's next releases will be more experimental and more psychadelic than his previous releases.
    2. Drake will take a longer time to work on his final album before semi retirement as he wants to retire on a good note simillar to Jay Z 4:44
    3. Don Toliver will become the successor to Drake and releases a full on rnb album
    4. Hyperpop hip hop will become a popular subgenre among the younger generation and will usher in a new era of electronically based hip hop
    5. Lyrically based rappers will make a huge mainstream comeback, with Polo G, JID, and Denzel curry all making waves
    6. Cardi B will overtake Nicki Minaj as the most popular female rapper of all time.
    7. Playboi Carti will release something but it will flop hardly forcing him to rebuild his fanbase from scratch
    8. Rocky will hit a peak of popularity with All Smiles
    9. Internet Money will be the new Def Jam, and they will expand into other territories in the entertainment industry
    shoutout @Odeon for the inspiration

We get more of the same s*** for about five more years before a new artist mysteriously arrives on the scene and changes the game akin to Kanye's College Drop Out.
He is currently unknown right now or just starting out (i.e Baby Keem? Probably not)

    Out at number 3

He has all the criteria to be a superstar his level except lyrical ability. He just had 2 major solo hits, and Lemonade is crawling up the charts.
    Plus his hooks are godlike

He can be a superstar yes. Travis is. But Don isn’t filling in drakes spot lol. That person is yet to come

I very much doubt Denzel Curry gonna be making any big waves like that at this point

You right he had his chance

  • Freddie Gibbs will capture the mainstream the same way he did the underground.

Neither. I think he’ll be a more interesting travis (post Astroworld). His melodies are very fun and refreshing.

osquinn will become the next XXXTENTACION figure for the youth, be a trans icon and usher in a new sound and do it all without a major b/c she'll have the internet behind her

  • Aug 17, 2020

damn i was gonna say #4
also i pray #9 does not happen because internet money is a factory, and produces some of the most generic music out there (can't hate on it though, taz is a genius)

  • #1 could be ASAP Rocky too
    Nvm that's what you said

Number 1 will never ever happen. Travis scott will decline even further in quality.
    Number 2 will probably happen
Number 3 is never gonna happen cus that guy f***ing sucks balls. Nothing about him is special and his name sounds like a brand of crackers.
Number 4 sounds f***ing dumb cus it already exist.
Number 5 is already happening. Aka drake and griselda collabs.
Number 6 has already happened literally today. Wap just broke some major pop records that nicki never accomplished.
Number 7 is never gonna happen because his fan will eat up whatever he gives them. But he'll def fall more into obscurity.
Number 8 doesn't sound popular. He doesn't care about making hits.
    Number 9 sounds possible

  • 3 ain’t happening and 6 is meg already
