As a musician I agree prince was better but r kelly is clearly a better song writer.
He wrote songs for mj, usher, Toni Braxton, Celine Deion, Whitney Houston..not to even include his own classics

I wouldn’t say Prince’s natural tone is all that great if we’re being honest. He had great technique and easily one of the best falsettos of all time, but if we’re talking his chest voice then that was nothing special. With that being said, R Kelly ekes out a win there.

You're missing the point.. this is one of my favorite songs ever.. trust me R Kelly is a savant when it comes to music, that's not up for debate
But his pen wasn't anything like Prince's.. you have to dig deep in both of their discogs to figure this out.. this seems like such a surface level hot take to me.. if you're gonna argue at least make it make sense
