Unless it's a part-timer or one of their golden boys like Drew, Then I highly doubt anyone else is going to have a good reign with the title if they beat Roman.
In regards to getting emotionally invested, I can only see Big E being that person. But again as you stated, the run AFTER beating Roman is questionable for anyone challenging him, cause I doubt Big E will keep folks invested in the product, unless they get the New Day involved and have inner turmoil/envy.
Fiend is another possible considering the history (and he could dismantle The Bloodline with his "mindgames" I guess) and he's more creative than creative themselves, but that's it honestly.
I don’t feel bad for these nerds
Exactly! There's nothing for us to get emotionally invested. It's like they're just, there. I feel the same for most face champions tbh. Rinse, recycle, repeat for most of the superstars. Hell they ran the authority angle to the damn pavement.lol
Creative has been a buckshot wound for WWE for decades. Romans current run is the best thing they've done in years, and idk if Heyman is also behind it on top of Romans execution.
It’s make or break for anyone. Nobody is nearly ready for Reigns at this point. Lesnar/Cena are believable. Yet I do not want to see Lesnar v Reigns ever again. Even with the roles switched. Cena is one thing but they kinda s*** on that feud years back. Kinda lame and not even close of being memorable.
WWE thinks about now rather than later.
Wasn't Nikki Cross a big face in the indys? This new gimmick is actually right up her alley, and surprisingly could work with live audiences (only if pushed). The womens division needed another babyface, where a lot of them are tweeners/heels.
Angle recently did a Q&A on AdFreeShows.com, which hosts The Kurt Angle Show, and talked about the pain he deals with every day from his 20+ years in the ring. The 52 year old also blamed his years of amateur wrestling for the shape his body is in now.
“I’m in extreme pain all day long,” Angle revealed. “I do maintenance on my body all day. I do my neck traction. I have a thing called the Iron Neck, where it trains your neck. I have anti-gravity machine rollers. I stretch. I do a lot of weight training.
“I work on my body a good 2-3 hours a day. I have to. I’m so banged up now. I sacrificed a lot of my body in professional wrestling, and amateur wrestling

He said he stays away from painkillers now because of his past addiction, hence the daily pain.
Speaking to PWInsider's Mike Johnson last week, Khan addressed the criticism from last week's Forbes feature when he said they had made an eight figure investment into video games.
He thought it was comical anyone would try to spin a negative out of the news as their $20 million investment into North Carolina-based Epic Games "looks pretty smart now because it's worth a lot more than that now."
"It's crazy because that's going to be an even bigger investment that's going to pay off huge. I have made this huge eight figure investment into video games, but we won't see any revenue from that until 2022. That's why it's not going to pay off in 2021 on our books," Khan said.
"We are going to deliver a great game for people next year and are going to make a ton of money. We'll be very profitable on all things next year."
Khan doubled down that the wrestling division is "significantly profitable" and in their second year of operations, that is "pretty amazing for a startup that has had the level of investment that we have had and the in the amount of time this has been going."
Khan also put over how they actually grew during the pandemic and didn't have to lay employees or talent off. He remains optimistic about their future with touring, continued success with pay-per-views, and their TV contract.
