The AEW OGs not liking Punk is so ego driven,i don't think they have any real excuse to notblike him besides "he thinks he's big s*** walking in here after we laid the groundwork".

It’s clear at this point that Punk’s the problem wherever he goes and Tony’s too much of a fan to realise the turning point his company’s at.
If he keeps Punk and somehow lets HHH hit the jackpot and gets The Elite vs. The Bloodline on his television show then he’s gonna regret it.
These problems aren’t gonna end there, they’re gonna migrate to someone else backstage because that’s the guy Punk is.

I’m sure plenty of other people there have had opinions about Colt disappearing off tv since Punk showed up and then got relegated to ROH and almost fired from the company until the EVP’s stepped in and got Tony to keep him around in some form.

At the end of the day, if I were running a wrestling company, I would rather have CM Punk on my roster than Colt Cabana.
And not on some “for the love of wrestling” s*** but literally because it’s a much better business decision.
From a business standpoint Punk is the way to go.
