Interesting if Hunter does contact Punk for a return if they release him.
I remember Meltzer alluding to Punk being open to rejoining WWE prior to joining AEW but it was WWE that wasn’t interested. Always assumed that was because of his Heat with Hunter but I guess Vince just hated the guy
