I also find it very sad that men in their 30s-40s can’t get along in a company where they only see each other for 2-3 hours a week.

The fact that Punk’s getting bought out makes me think they’ve never been in danger and TK knows who’s faction name is on the brand.

It would have been the easiest decision for me if I was him. Imagine if he s***can the Elite and then Punk just started the same s*** with someone else. There’s no way you could ever trust him with a live mic again after that media scrum.

he was also telling people a month or two before the ppv that the media scrum should be interesting lol I think he went overboard though the way he kept going back to the subject whenever they tried moving on to something else and was just pissed in the moment due to getting reinjured right after coming back and winning the title again

Im not trying to hate. He's got it but he also comes in the way of the effect he can produce.

Most times he draws attention to how good he is at mic work. Just because CM Punk did it once in what ended up being a seminal moment in wrestling doesnt mean you gotta do it every single time which is what mjf goes for. It just dilutes the impact and is exhausting. Just do the work sometimes like mox did at the end of dynamite with the impromptu promo.

In this instance, with regal, he got a great story going but his eagerness to hit that peak mjf exclamation point (and most promos are loaded with 4 5 of these) causes him to rush through all the emotional beats. Fact is he doesnt have much of a delivery when it comes to vulnerability, or being dramatic without exploding. He sounds the same when he says, im a generational superstar, and, I was going to kill myself.

But its tough trying to be the midpoint of rock and mick foley. And i think babyface arc will force him to diversify his promos.

But he has to learn to hit the nuances and give them space rather than trying to cram all the clever lines and bits in. A guy as charismatic as him has no business sounding like Ethan Page.

Okay I get what you're saying. He has to bring the vulnerability some more without ramping up to an explosion.

Guess I'll have to check out more Eddie Kingston promos. Only seen one or two and he was cool but I wasn't blown away.
