he's right though...ppl make fun of TK and all that but without him we'd be stuck with WWE as far as televised wrestling goes ...AEW isn't perfect but it's a better alternative than some of these other options out here lol
AEW is a better alternative than it has any right to be lol. We're talking about a show that is still relativity within its growing stages.
Let's be clear, a wrestling company that isn't owned by a McMahon having a television deal with one of the biggest media companies in the world ending up #1 in the ratings most weeks is not nothing. There hasn't been a landscape like this in 20 years. Wrestling has always been better with multiple big players.
Absolutely. You can toss in the rise of NJPW as well in the 2010s, And it's weird af to see those that want AEW and Impact to fail. Like them periods where WWE were monopolizing wrestling were some dark times, especially when it was the Super Cena era. Thank God that's over I do not miss them days at all.lol

Super Cena ruled so Roman could Reign
Super Cena ruled so Roman could Reign
Romans reign is preferable imo.lol His has at least been entertaining, and we can thank the Usos and Heyman for that since they've honestly been the anchors in this entire run. Jey doesn't get enough credit. Now that Sami is in the mix, it's stayed refreshed.
Super Cena got stale, numerous of times.lol
I def need a Danielson championship run.
At least one more
He's legitimately in my top 3 oat.

No one wants AEW to fail it’s great for the wrestlers and the business overall.
It’s the musty marks & TK worshippers (locdown, Maccaveli) who treat AEW like it’s the best thing since slice bread and that’s annoying.

You could add 2 or 3 more to that list too lol
S***!
Their running the same markets too much tbh
I know I clown around about WWE/AEW signing everyone and I understand that people gotta get paid. I just can’t get behind anyone crying anymore about not being used. It’s gonna get there sooner or later again.

We have a weird fan base that believe wrestling should be presented in one way

It's the WWE propaganda machine. An entire generation grew up on WWE alone and was told by them that only Vince knows wrestling. Wrestling was a niche adult secret in "small smokey arenas", Vince is a creative genius who made wrestlers from scratch, WCW was never good, ECW was a cute try, nothing outside of the US matters, and indie wrestlers are just Twitter gifs until it's time to come to NXT and learn to work the hard cam

The other alarming part is there isn’t a lot of wrestling historians around either.
It’s going to be super interesting to see both Papa Hs and TKs massive f*** ups that chased fans away in the future

The Lapsed Fan podcast. It's like the best historical wrestling media ever.
The presentation of wrestling in the territories during the 80s
