I mean the fact that this nigga gettin more heat for punching one of the Jackson’s than niggas accused of domestic abuse and sexual assault and s*** kinda crazy tho 😭😭

If he didn’t do what he did at the presser before I think they could have contained it better.

TBH we’re acting like AEW hasn’t tried to fix the crisis and like Punk isn’t just refusing to grow up, try to apologise for what he did and try to mend fences.

It’s the same story with Punk in every company he’s been in.

I still have some hope but won’t be shocked if he’s bought out. I’m just waiting on the official report from TK/AEW. All these people hiding behind paywalls looked like giant carnies for pretty much this whole year. I don’t remember it being this poor.

Dave fights with stupid bots and SRS vanity searches like a 14 year old.

the brawl? i dont know if there is one proven version of it but dont all parties deserve equal blame?

No. All the initial stories were from Punk’s side and then unrelated people like MJF and others in the building like Jericho likely talked to Dave and told him how that couldn’t have happened.

It’s clear at this point from the results of the investigation that Punk acted super unprofessional at the presser, the Jacksons went and got the head of AEW legal, went into his locker room to speak to him on his behaviour (which as EVP’s they’re well within their rights to do in a corporate environment despite what Punk tells himself about running the company) and he started a physical fight.

If it went any differently and there was any wrongdoing on the Elite’s side Kenny and the Bucks would have been stripped of their EVP positions and probably wouldn’t have returned to work straight away like they did. And I doubt Tony would have wanted to go straight to a buy out with his biggest star if they shared the blame as well.

Because wrestlers and victim complex martyrs like Punk love putting their spin on s*** to paint themselves in the best possible light.

As you followed the stories, you’d find Punk would tell Dave s***, Dave would report what had been said while stating that none of it was 100% and then other people at AEW would get in contract with Dave and inform him how full of s*** Punk was.

It was like “The Bucks kicked down the door and punted Larry” and then a couple of days later it was “eye-witnesses have confirmed that wasn’t the case”.

Tony should have just kept him on tv with the Dark Order till his contract ran out, would have looked a lot better then Tony just telling him to stay home for the last 3 months.

Of course the locker room was gonna think that was the case then.

But the results of the investigation aren't out. And talks of contract buyout are still not verified. So it's speculation to say Punk's the culprit of the brawl, based on Elite returning and the fact that AEW and Punk are silent on his status.

But i agree with your point that if the deadlock is due to punk's unwillingness to squash the beef and just move on, then that's just on him

And I honestly think there’s more to the story than we know of… based on all of the info we know, it doesn’t make sense to how Punk was THAT pissed because of a bunch of rumours going around in the dirt sheets/locker room

If Punk had some actual evidence The Elite were leaking false stories he would have let Fightful, Wrestling Observer and that guy he’s now friends with after accusing him of being Colt’s friend at All Out have it. But it’s clear he doesn’t.

My best guess is that he’s angry the Bucks convinced Tony to re-sign Colt for ROH and that’s why he’s focused his ire on them. He made it pretty clear at the media scrum that regardless of wherever he had a hand in Tony sending Cabana home that he has a real bad vendetta against Colt to this day.

Dave’s been really resolute since Punk shot on Hangman on his first promo back from injury that he’s not convinced that Punk didn’t have a hand to play in Cabana being off tv and he hasn’t really moved from that position regardless of what Tony and Punk says.

SRS was in all likelihood wrong on that but Black having a holier than thou view is silly though when he’s been caught lying about other reports. I remember when he tried to s*** on Dave and SRS back when he left WWE stating their reporting was wrong and then a week later Black got on Twitch and confirmed everything that they initially reported.

CM Punk’s been known to get that angry about things like Kevin Steen wearing a t-shirt when wrestling a ROH match.

Dude’s just not in control of his emotions.

They're all complicit.lmao This ain't gonna go away until the results of the investigation, and even afterwards.

TK/The Elite come out of this on the wrong end could spell problems for the brand considering how polarizing Punk is. They won't fold, but they'll certainly take a hit.
