Alright I’m 10 hours in and the reviews for this game are stupidly low

I was expecting this s*** to be ass after reading the 68 meta, it’s an 8/10 easily

No other game quite feels like it and the combat and traversal are the focus point of everything you do so it really stands out

kinda liking it so far and its simplicity in design but grandiose in execution

The only thing thats annoying/corny to me is the way she reacts & describes her powers

Also constantly switching back n forth from straight up cursing to substitute cursing has always been a personal pet peeve of mine s*** makes no sense irl or fiction pick a side n grow some balls

Frame rate & resolution is dogshit tho in this its wild

Animations are whacky af here n there too

Game would be s***ted on even more if it wasnt an exclusive

I think some game journalists were too dumb to master the combat and traversal so they just thought it was bad

I wasn't a fan from what i played in the demo but 7/10 isn't even a bad score

I don’t think so either but following the 68 on meta, like a dozen people came itt and said “wow I guess it’s trash, I’ll wait for it to be free” etc.

classic hivemind mentality in video gamers. if it is not universally received 10/10 then it is trashed as 0/10 with few actually trying it themselves.

refund time periods exist for a reason to allow people to make their own opinions on whether a game is fun enough.

Unfortunately its 2023 and Playstation still hasn't changed their refund policy

I feel like the difficulty needs to be tweaked. Medium difficulty is way too easy and hard difficulty is absolutely pounding my cheeks to smithereens.

Turnning Texture Memory to Ultra-High helped with the s***ty textures and I didn't notice much difference in performance

68-70 is absolutely bad for a video game because these critics praise anything. Far Cry 5 is one of the worst games I've ever played and even that has a Metacritic score of around 80
