This s*** sucks deleted the demo after 20 minutes
Combat feels ugly, not a fan of the movement, probably be on PS+ by the end of next year
An I tripping or are the graphics f***ing horrible? Everything is overblown and has a washed out look and i’m playing on an S95B which is literally the best I’ve ever seen any type of content on, no matter what I do in the settings this game looks horrible
Edit: of course’s it’s just HDR, it’s been years dude how the f*** does Square still have dogshit HDR implementation
Graphics look… off like almost blurry. Combat was a mess. Movement unresponsive. Like the entire game is just off. I will play more of the demo later but for now I force closed it in the middle of the garbage combat
Definitely needs to be delayed again.
Played the demo, and yeah, this ain’t it for me.
Due to the control scheme being unusual, combat is very awkward at first. Took me a minute to really get the handle on things, and figured out there is some cool stuff you can do. Stuff that looks cool, not necessarily feels cool if that makes sense.
It’s a demo so I’d imagine this open world won’t be as bland, but it’s just…nothing. The art design is plain, the lore is a snooze fest and the characters never shut the hell up saying awful one liner after the next. It’s like a MCU turned up to 11
Big keep for me, but I guess you could say it was FORESPOKEN that this game was gonna be bad
Please laugh
this forum was merciful on this game fr fr. y'all super politically correct with the hate.

Just seems like one of those games that comes early in the gen that never goes anywhere. They push all this marketing for it heavy, but the game comes out and it’s mediocre or bad and everyone forgets about it. The Order 1886 is a good example of this

Ryse:Son Of Rome an even better example, forgotten about in the first few months of next gen launch lol

Holy s*** they put so much into Ryse LMAO

Game was linear as hell and worth on playthrough, not to mention, that playthrough was 5 hrs(6 at most). That game is genuinely forgotten
Only complaint is that the game is so fast-paced that you basically have to play it in the 60fps performance mode and the graphics are kinda blurry/weak in that mode compared to the high quality mode
Played like 4 hours this s*** slap tbh love the process of choosing the challenges you want to do in order to upgrade spells. exploring to find new spells and doing challenges to master the spells is definitely gonna be my fav part of this game
The freedom and dynamic nature of combat and choosing different builds reminds me of skyrim

Movement feels way better with Magic parkour set to toggle instead of default (in accessibility) that way you can just focus on the shimmy ability
And leap/soar set to semi-auto
