Yeah Nintendo and Microsoft do need to pressure Sony so that Sony doesn't get back to the days where they got too cocky and didn't do things how they were supposed to be done and thought they could drop mediocre stuff and think gamers would be okay with that. That's why I think competition is good... So please do your part as well Nintendo and Microsoft so gaming can remain been good. And especially Microsoft as things have been bad with them lately tbh... So please step your game up Microsoft!

Yeah I wish it would come this year... But it's probably better if this got delayed until mid-late 2024 especially late 2024 or early 2025 so it could also take advantage of the extra power the PS5 Pro has once it launches in Holiday 2024 (November 2024) or some time in 2025

Might be right now yes... But if Sony doesn't mess things up even more in the next 14 months so could I see the PS5 Pro having some decent sales at least this time before the PS6 is out and who knows it might even sell more than what the PS4 Pro sold. But regardless of how much it sells or makes sense to get one so do I still want to get one tbh as I want something better than what the PS5 offers right now

I mean honestly I think so few games actually feel next gen or when they do gamers get immediately upset they aren’t 4k60 . When often their scope demands more from the console . Also just now getting unreal engine 5 games or engines that could only exist on here. Not that I think engines matter more than gameplay mechanics or ai . I’m personally in no rush to get a pro at all

Yeah Unreal Engine 5 is for example VERY demanding so I think a PS5 Pro is justified in that case for example. But I think those with a regular PS5 will be fine depending on what's good enough for them and what isn't... Me though from what I've seen so far? Yeah IMO I don't think a PS5 Pro would be a waste of money to get at launch or for example 6-12 months later after it launches... So ay I'll get one and if you do then @ me and let me know what you think about it

Oh I am going to wait and see. My current verdict is I dont use my PS5 enough in comparison to computer to get a ps5 pro vs invest that money in upgrading computer ram. Also will come down to if there is an exclusive I am interested in

Oh you use your computer more... That makes a lot of sense to why you don't feel like the need to do it. But still this generation might be 1 year longer and we'll get that PS5 Pro 1-2 years later than when the PS4 Pro dropped so it should be a more meaningful upgrade and hopefully with it keeping everything people love about the PS5 plus new stuff exclusive to it... Like they better not make it not possible to change the cover plate, make it only have USB-C ports, make it have less USB ports or whatever is still been used but maybe not by everyone.

So yeah now it's all about when in 2024 they'll reveal it and will they be able to make it good enough to convince people to get one especially those like me and you who do own a PS5 right now... But I think I'll get it though but I'll by then decide if to get one or wait at least 6-12 months before getting one

Need this game so bad. It was literally the only game I was truly anticipating this year. Next year for sure unless we get a surprise December drop but I know Sony will hopefully try to go ham with the marketing for this game.

I was worried this was gonna get canned so glad this announcement happened. As you said, if they have confidence in this game that's exciting.

I love that they modeled the enemies with clay models first. Feels very aunthentic the design of the creatures.
