Is the Vaughan 70mm imax theatre any better now ?

Still remeber watching Tenet and being thoroughly underwhelmed compared to the scotiabank theatre

It’s still very hit or miss which is frustrating, I only see a few movies on 70MM there now. the scotiabank imax is much better, consistently good experience

Sound was not that good and viewing experience in terms of quality were not the best. Not as much of an immersive experience I've found.

Yeah, I feel the same about it. I've seen two movies at the Vaughan theatre and always feel like damn i probably should've just seen it at scotiabank.

i had to choose the reg 70mm since im already in toronto that same day to watch a different film and the imax venue isn't anywhere close to where im supposed to be

yeah i saw that the new 4k restoration was premeiring in chicago, which im jealous of since that film is amazingly bonkers. are u going?

im actually interested in checking it out since the film was shot on HD cameras, so i kinda want to know how they did a 4k restoration for it
