These are E.G.O. threadspin levels, but all the IDs I use are uptie 3 at least.

I've been pulling every single day since I've started playing the game 18 days ago

Ah my bad I got confused cause of the character portraits

You started around the same time as me (Around the anniversary giveaways right?) I guess I just got lucky with my pulls

Yeah and I missed the last 7 or 8 anniversary gifts (including a S2 nominable ID) because the event ended. One day earlier and I could've gotten Sunshower Heathcliff

If anything, level 100 on the battlepass gives a ticket that guarantees a 3 star id from season 5 if you are close to it.

I just been grinding MD for it (BP is currently at 89) since I heard the season is ending soon? (I have no idea how the schedule works)

I'm at 64 right now, but I haven't been grinding MD outside of the 3 weekly bonuses. I read about that too, but after buying the pass There's not a set schedule for new seasons afaik, hopefully they give us all of April too

Can you believe their games used to look like this?

But yeah I like the way this game looks visually, especially the chaos on the screen when everyone is clashing. The improvement from Lobotomy Corp to Ruina was huge and they made another big jump in visuals when going from Ruina to Limbus

Shoutout to the sound design in this game too, I don't think anything will ever beat the dice roll sound effect from LoR but the coin flip and clashing sounds are so satisfying

My favorite fight so far has been 5-30

The game truly shines in focused encounters, I just can't get enough

Half your boxes get converted to shards whenever a new season rolls over. So if there is an ID you guys for sure want, then make sure you use your boxes. I'll probably be using mine to grab the Walpurgis gun IDs for Yi Sang, Heathcliff, and Hong Lu.

    Just finished Canto 4

The writing around Yi Sang, Dongrang and Dongbaek was so beautiful man. Also Yi Sang coming to the realisation that the mirror is in fact a reflection of the self and the wings he longed for within the self he observed inside the mirror he actually possessed all along...

"If you saw wings on me, then they were on you as well... They would obviously belong to you" F\*\*\*ing goosebumps man. Also the cutscene with the Mili song syncing up and the wings bursting out of Yi Sang... I love this game so much man jesus christ

I feel I missed out so much during the 2 years the game's been out, but I'm super excited for the new season and the content I still have to play to catch up to Canto 8. Plus it's a breath of fresh air for me and a great chance to break free from Mihoyo games

I coincidentally found out about Limbus because I got a recommendation for a video of Tectone playing it lmao

I remember you writing about it more than a year ago. I had already heard a lot of good things about it but I was still a bit skeptical because it was a gacha (but mostly because Lobotomy Corp was actually next on my backlog and I wanted to get into that first). Having played Lobotomy Corp and LoR since then really showed me that PM knows what they are doing though.

I mention this element in all of my posts about their previous games but the way ludonarrative is a constant in all PM games is beautiful; execution of it is also masterclass every time. Even very early in Limbus, they go out of their way to explain the concept of mirror worlds and link that to the player extracting identities (Which they even hinted at in one of the web novels they published before the release of this game). Also love that there is this emphasis in "reading mechanics" in all their games lol.

Out of curiosity do you ever plan on playing Library of Ruina? I kinda imagine that you have already been spoiled about what happens in that game if you have been in the Limbus community for a while but I would say it's still worth playing for the gameplay.

I actually plan on doing Lobo Corp first. I put about 2 hours into it about a year ago, but school was getting really busy and I hate the feeling of playing a video game that has a story when the time between sessions is more than 1 week. It'll probably be on the backburner for awhile since I'm moving to a new city and starting a new job too. Once I get into a stable routine and finish Infinite Wealth it's probably next on my list unless I get tempted too much by Blue Prince.

    Okay 5-30 is WILD

To make it worse 4/6 of the IDs I have been raising are weak to blunt and only my R Corp Ishmael does blunt attacks

Might be time I raise other IDs

I just got Manager Don and I'm thinking about getting her to level 50 with the ticket V I have and also use the dispenser for Princess Rodion (I have 72 shards and 340 nominable shard crates).

But, it's better to wait and see if I can get her with the guaranteed 3* ticket the bp gives you on level 100 tbh.

Ngl if I didn't watch a video I'd still be stuck there

Using Ishmael to redirect the hits, paired with Nclair is the way

That's funny cause just yesterday I used the S1 nominable to get Nclair since I needed 1 more ID that did blunt damage.

From my few attempts I'm guessing that Ishmael doesn't actually die until she is the last one standing and theres a cheese around that? You still have like 4 other skills to redirect though so not sure how that would help

Anyways I just managed to beat him with my new blunt team after spending an absurd amount of Enkaphalin boxes, modules and threads to get everyone up (Having beaten him now though I probably didn't need to get everyone to 40)

On top of everyone having blunt damage/resist (except Meursault), having 3 evade skills helped a lot.

Turn 1: Completely null out Ricardo's first turn with evade. Little Brothers only have 1 skill on the first turn so clashing with them is fine here.

Turn 2: Rodion has a skill that has aggro (finally found a usecase for aggro) which helped to grab attention from the Little Brothers (that now have 2 skills), the rest of the Little Brothers I ignored because of blunt resist (I actually got unlucky here because it targetted Meursault). Also Meursalt base EGO also inflicts 4 damage down next turn on Ricardo to help with some of the clashes.

Turn 3: Little brothers AFK here, Only clashed with two of Ricardos skills and went all in on unopposed attacks for the rest of the encounter (Staggering him in turn 3 is what sealed the fight I think)

My previous team was somewhat decent at clashing problem was that they primarly did slash attacks so the damage output was garbage and I couldn't ignore the Little Brothers because everyone was weak to blunt

Good job plus leveling up IDs will come in handy in the near future

I tried a lot with full team composition but quickly gave up and went for that strategy instead and it eventually worked. Once you get used to it, the first two waves are easy work.

They both get 3 skills each turn so all you need to do is redirect every attack against Nclair to her in the first two waves because she doesn't die no matter what. On the third wave you need to make sure she attacks Ricardo first to trigger his counter attack and then hit him with Nclair. If Nclair has more speed than her, you attack the little brothers to get them out of the way, just make sure you never attack him with Nclair first.
