Exclusives are the only reason to buy a console. Now that more ps5s are available maybe we’ll finally get some ps5 games

Yeah that's the problem, I got the PS3, the PS4, not an Xbox guy, but Sony have given me so few reasons to get this thing so far, whole gen feels like a false start atm

If we keeping in 100 both of these consoles could have delayed to launch 2022 or even longer to actually put their power to use and have exclusive games using their power . Part of the install base issue right now at this point is people seeing that there are so many cross gen games so they aren't in a rush to play . Yes it runs the games the best but they also don't have assurances from microsoft or sony that a pro won't come around in 2023 or 2024. There is nothing future proof

I would feel a lot better about my PS5 if it was fully backwards compatible or closer to it like the Xbox or instead of remakes they put the games up as classics with servers back up. Something. Instead it feels like we are being charged for online to mainly play the same exact games we played online in previous generations. Thats why I keep saying Sony needs a new multiplayer game.

Cause otherwise you playing single player games but if ragnarok runs playable with no major issues what is truly a rush to play on either console even by the end of next year ?

Everything about PS5/XSX has felt like a test run up until this point. I really don't think they've shown much of what these next gen consoles can do at all. 2023 seems to be when things will heat up with 2024 finally being declared current gen.
