S*** I hope so . Even Dual Sense like yes its a solid controller but in terms of using most of the functionality still kind of just potential. Microsoft has a lot of cloud and machine learning things they want to do but they won't really showcase much until Starfield being something that is definitively "could only work on Xbox Series X and S".

One thing about the PS5/XSX I comend both MS/Sony for,is the fact that i don't think they gimped the systems this time like PS4 and XB1. I can't see a Pro console till at least 2025 cause of how much unlocked potential there is on both consoles.

But yea,things like Dualsense,MS Cloud,has untapped potential. Curious to see exclusives like DS2,Starfield,FF16 etc,use these features to the fullest.

I agree they have no excuse for releasing a pro version in 2024. Should keep delaying a pro or next console til they truly use the potential

Exactly,i don't think any game on PC has ever fully tapped into 16 gigs of GDDR6 RAM(most PC gamers are still on DDR5 RAM). It'll be a waste of resources to release a Pro before 2025

the issue in this case is though gamers have become so obsessed with 4k and 60fps that is either company as challenged to think of gameplay mechanics that can only be done on their consoles or design like things

Yea,thats what this gen is about,new ways to play just as much its about graphics. I feel like their gonna have 4K down pat(idk about 60fps for every game but when MW2 is doing 120fps on PS5,that shows power)and graphics haven't impressed me this much since PS3/360 days.(Calisto Protocol is kinda ridiculous graphically).

But as we get more exclusives for these consoles,i know were gonna be left more impressed then we've been in a ling time in gaming. Im real hopeful for this gen,last gen was boring imo.

Yep,its definitely these old engines keeping things from truly moving forward. Unreal Engine 5 games will most likely blow minds. I think The Witcher remake is gonna be an eye opener too. Alot to look forward too this gen,its just that right now,its obvious that PS5/XSX could've been put on Ice but released anyway.

@gnarlynasty Yeah the rumors so far point to a Holiday 2024 or some time in 2025 release of the PS5 Pro so nothing in 2023 for sure and well 2024 isn't 100 % guaranteed but don't be surprised if we do get one in late 2024 though
