I had issues starting cyberpunk that only got sorted after going through some bios s*** reading through reddit. I don't expect to be going online finding solutions to play a game. Cool u love it. Most people wanna unwind, lay on the couch and play some games on their TV...not sitting behind a desk like they been doing coming home from work
i mean im sorry you had that problem but it’s not indicative of the average experience on PC. only reason i go into bios is to do cool s*** or when i had to disable secure boot to toy around with new OSes. and i don’t sit behind a desk if i don’t want to, s*** is easy to just hook up to my tv, then i play controller with a long usb c cable (which i use for consoles too mind you, because i hate bluetooth latency and play insane-o action games lol). i sit behind a desk to play FPS mostly since i hate playing FPS with controllers.
y’all are acting like consoles have the monopoly on the couch experience when again that hasn’t been the case for damn near 10 years. it’s fine if y’all prefer consoles but they do pretty much nothing better than PC anymore if you’re being honest with yourself and the value proposition is lopsided now especially with the steam deck let alone with the dock. idc how you spend your money im just correcting you because you’re wrong lmfao
When Naughty Dog reveals their new IP tomorrow running on the PS5 Pro
(This is just a cope post from a starving ND fan)
PS5 been decent imo but definitely feels a lot worse compared to last gen. Ps4 era was special.
I love my PS5 and don’t regret buying it, but yea the PS4 era is one of the best ever. And the current era hasn’t come close to it

An average gamer does not wanna go around hooking up their tower to their TV lmao that is the definition of inconvenience
What's the couch experience now for gaming?
Crazy how PS5 has had no games for 4 years and that Astro Bot was its first game.

Everything you just described is a perceived inconvenience for the average consumer. Every game on Steam doesn't even have proper controller support out of the box. I still frequently have to jump into settings on initial boot of a game because the resolution is incorrect. Several of the games I play require a full on fan patch in order to run at a functional level. These are "minor" things to people like us who play on PC but these are things a large number of people have no desire to confront when playing video games. They want an experience they feel is 100% tailored to their machine and don't want to so much as look at a settings screen, in-game or otherwise. Value proposition is still in console's favor because playing on a machine that requires 0 tinkering whatsoever and can run every modern game for $399 is hard to beat. I adore my Steam Deck, it's probably my favorite "console" ever -- but it requires a ton of tinkering if you want to delve outside of Verified titles (and even those sometimes run incredibly poor). It's a straight up worse experience than console gaming (not to mention the games run worse, look uglier, etc). Nobody wants to have to update their Proton version or go into the game's settings to make sure you have the Compatibility box checked. Niggas are NOT trying to do any of that.
A lot of people don't even have their PCs in the same room as their primary TV lol.
Well, your name is "Mr.Motion" but, what if that motherfucker $1K?

I couldn't be asked to go through that posters points because they are clearly one of the "pc master race" types which is fine but they are an enthusiast to this gaming s***...they can't see the other side of the average consumer
What games are y'all playing on PS5 that requires a Pro. Am I really about to buy this s*** just for Wolverine to look a bit better?!
