Haven’t had a save sync since March 29th last year

Luckily DS2 is pretty much the only game I put any real time into, and I’d already beaten it. Astro bot kinda sucks though I was pretty far into a 100% run.

Yep and they don't even let you backup saves to USBs anymore either, only PS4 games

But it's possible if you do backup the PS5 save files or do transfer stuff from for example a PS5 to PS5 Pro though... Right?

Did something similar to this with all my video clips from when I sold my PS4. I forgot to back up all my old clip footage to a USB drive and lost so many funny moments with my boys that spanned years. Forever gonna regret that.

Disc drive acquired. Weirdly it seems just as load as my base PS5 when reading discs. I was hoping that wouldn’t still be the case

nah the noise was too much for me lol, the drm reads your disc constantly too even if you’re not playing the game. even in Apple Music. Can’t even hear noname over this leaf blower starting up in my living room.

Read up on it a little and it seems most of the noise comes from vibrations in the plastic around the disc reader. Saw someone suggest putting tiny rubber bits around the edges to reduce the vibration. Gonna give it a try and see.

I was the exact same way with my PS5, bought most games digital so I didn’t have to deal with the noise
Weird thing is I could swear it was silent when I first got it.

I have an extra 2tb laying around from when I built my PC. I don’t feel much need for it rn, but yeah you never know. Good to have before prices really begin to go up
