Lmao don’t get me started. The frequency is sometimes so bad and if someone’s out that day and they don’t have anyone else to cover that route time I think ur f***ed from what some drivers have told me. I be balancing my time and the cost and sometimes I’m luck f*** it Uber it is because I’m not tryna just wait idly for a bus that is on the schedule but on the nj transit app is not showing up and then surprise…doesn’t show up! Njtranshit.com exists for a reason lol
When the NJ Transit says it's gonna be there but ends up coming 40 minutes later
NJ Transit don't work for us, we work for NJ Transit

Lmao ask not what nj transit could do for u…
On the real tho u might be able to get in contact with someone from nj transit or ur local rep about this (getting an explanation that is, not a solution). that’s a persistent problem that im sure you can’t be the only one experiencing. I wonder if the mess that is transportation at airports is a factor in this.
I think part of the problem is the 67 also continues from Newark Int'l into Journal Square Jersey City. Which to me just means they need to have more buses that take passengers just to the airport, along with buses that skip the airport and go straight to Jersey City. Those are two separate major destinations. Putting them in the same zone/route is wild.
Imagine all the trillions that we spent on war was instead used on infrastructure. This country could’ve been on some futuristic s*** smh
we could've been on top of climate change in the late 70s/early 80s, because EXXON was aiming at advancing to renewables, but then leadership got replaced and they were concerned about oil so they hid it for decades
Public transportation is underfunded on purpose
Go to a country w proper funding and urban design like Germany or Japan and the difference is massive
Lmao ask not what nj transit could do for u…

Kuro knows
What are you even talking about, did you read my post
Yes. If your argument is that it’s human nature to be loud and inconsiderate and that there’s nothing we can do about it, then I guess we should just continue with a practice that’s irreparably hurting the planet and only getting worse.
anyone else dont fully sit on the seats of public transportation? Man those seats are
anyone else dont fully sit on the seats of public transportation? Man those seats are
remember the time we got on and nutted on the seats together

I'm telling you that there's plenty of reasons people don't have the greatest viewpoint of public transportation and because it's not some overhaul that can happen overnight, it's dumb to just say that it's classism for anyone to say that they don't like public transportation

You know, you’re right. I do stand by the viewpoint that it’s rooted in classism, though. Rich people looking down on poor people means that important infrastructure gets underfunded, which does lead to some real problems like @localblaccmane pointed out.
I already said it's not their fault that life has forced them into s*** conditions that the city won't help them with...but I'm starting to hear about the schizo homeless people who be randomly punching and attacking people making a return in the subway again. And something tells me it's because there's an overabundance of homeless people living down there these days
I remember seeing that s*** often as a kid around the Avenue V and Flatbush Junction stops. I'd be feeling bad cause they aren't even truly aware of what's going on or what they're doing. But that ain't stopping niggas from stomping them out if it happens...which is how s*** would normally go for them.
I absolutely understand your concerns, I felt that way at one point. I don't think people are selfish for using cars in America, the place is just built primarily for it infrastructurally. In an ideal society, public transportation would be standardized in a large place, and people who are suffering in the skids of society would be able to get taken care of for their issues in a dignifying and easily accessible way, thus causing much less public incidents.

Yeah it’s not classism just indoctrination and a lack of political willpower
for cities, yes
but for the majority of places here in the US, a car is better cause stuff is not close together
It's a lot of privileged ass motherfuckers itt talking down on and talking over people who have no choice but to use public transportation airing out their valid complaints about it.
And it's that kinda s*** that is actual classism more than whatever goofy bullshit they tryna preach on from their soapbox about.
"I was able to travel to China and Japan and got to see how great public transportation is! You're all just complaining and selfish for wanting a car!"
Nigga suck the black off my d***.
You’re right to call me out here. This is an issue I feel really strongly about and I got tunnel vision ab it itt, but I shouldn’t have been patronizing to you for having a valid point of view and I apologize.
When the NJ Transit says it's gonna be there but ends up coming 40 minutes later
NJ Transit don't work for us, we work for NJ Transit
They got that free parking tho
Imagine if America had a developed high speed rail system instead of airlines
going to LA and back in 6 hours without stupid airport bullshit
I hope somebody on KTT3 sees this post in the future and it sounds so strange to them
