It’s not Putin’s achievement. Yeltsin ruled the country that had 20$ oil price, f***ed up economy from 70 years of state plan and civil war. Putin hasn’t even done 10% of what could’ve been done by a decent leader
Just absolute proof that being in a country or from there doesn't mean you know absolutely anything about whats going on
And yes, Putin is trash. But that is not an accurate depiction of what happened in russia

Enlighten me please you surely know better 🙏🏻
fair enough if putin remains in power but if he touches eastern europe nato have to glass him
HAHAHAHAHHA you think NATO is gonna do s***?
Benelovent dictatorship > liberal representative democracy
Democracy is overrated anyways
I’m not saying Putin is a good person, he’s killed people and lined the pockets for his friends but for a leader he’s pretty good FOR his Country
reminder that while yeltsin was bad, if zyuganov won half of eastern europe would be in grave danger

Look at Russia under Yeltsin and look at it now, except for Democracy many things have improved

At the detriment of the rest of the world. They literally cheer for global warming in Russia
If that's the case, America still reigning champ

Good thing Putin isn’t trying to improve then, he obviously only cares about Russia
Dictators love their colleagues.
Hi old friend, here I gift you an "ancient" quran to soothe your ancient mind. About the caspian sea tho.. I want the whole 🌊
Cheers bud, Oh box so pretty!!! just what the country needs. Look I found a passage I can use on tv to justify being a supreme overlord.
Benelovent dictatorship > liberal representative democracy
Regular elections that are respected > the problem of succession
Idk anything about the guy can someone fill me in? Is he a really bad guy or just like a nationalist type
How do his war crimes compare to US ones
he’s a self interested oligarch who’s been able to forge a sphere of influence using political cunning for his and his circles own gain
He brought Russia back to the Global stage after Yeltsin’s fiascos, built more on their military, built a sphere of influence in the Middle East and Eastern Europe, took over Crimea, stayed in power for over 22 years, persuaded most Russians into supporting him, destroyed dissidents, lined the pockets of his friends and made Russia a world power.
that doesn’t sound like “best” material

Has he f***ed up countries/his own people more than the states leaders adjacent to his legendary run

What has he done for Russia that was not part of some strategic ploy to further his own power and influence ? Russia is a dying nation with dropping populations, widespread discontent, fading infrastructure, government suppression, and some of the worst income inequality in the world.
Any gain made on part of Russia by Putin was done for his own gain, and for people to act like being a successful Machiavellian is some virtuous or respectable occupation when the sake of it was simply for your own profit makes me sick

Ok that’s what I needed to hear. I just don’t know much about the dude, I didn’t know if he was a bad dude or if it was just like the old US “RUSSIA BAD ” trope
I’m just trying to gauge how “bad” it was for him to meet with Trump, it’s just contradictory because don’t we want world peace ultimately? You gotta talk to the bad guys if you wanna do that or eradicate them which takes out the whole “peace” part lol

What I’m getting from this is that he’s just kinda a d*** by politician standards, but not really by dictator standards

no he’s a dictator i’d definitely classify his rule as excessively authoritarian
he doesn’t even put up the “freedom and democracy” farce that Americans try to pull off

Any examples? He’s not like Mussolini from what I know
I know I should google this but I like the KTT opinion since we have anarchists, liberals, centrists, communists etc on here
