someone i know who worked at universal told me and confirmed d’angelo had like over a dozen tape sessions when he recorded brown sugar just sitting at this office! I told him to get them but do they ever listen?

if was in a office sitting in a box. You think you aren’t in the danger zone? All he had to do was take the tapes for a day just put some fake tapes in a stupid box ( to make it look like nothing was removed )and transfer them - bring them back and there u go. You could’ve held onto them for a deluxe edition. Pretty soon it’s going to be the 30th anniversary most fans want to know what D was doing with his ensoniq other than Brown Sugar 😒

they were all vaguely listed like track 1 i told him stop being paranoia and take them they were like in the break room. Universal is such trash this is what they do with a genius library 😭
