I didn't even know Q-Tip even had an unreleased album just sitting out there for all of these years. Just imagine what other artists probably have unreleased albums just sitting on a shelf being unheard. That's crazy.

read an interview long time ago where one of the producers said they had 5 albums worth of songs from the sessions

"Long story short, I managed to track down an ex-Dreamworks Records employee who had the original CD in storage - apparently they made the promo CDs but never distributed them to radio etc. as the label went a bit haywire after Universal took them over in 2003 and then got folded into Geffen Records in 2004. Vast improvement in quality on the bootleg version floating around!"
