Anybody ever took a nap during the day - like, in the evening coming home from work etc or in the afternoon or something and wake up and feel grumpy / depressed like a mfr? I've been waking up grumpy af after short nap and it takes and hour or so to go away

Also - this never happens when I sleep at night and wake up in the morning.
yeah this is why I avoid taking naps during the day and just make up for lost sleep/being tired the next night. been like this my whole life.

It’s because an hour is too long/too short, ur brain and body thinks it’s about to get a full nights sleep and when u wake up an hour later, it’s the same as only getting an hour of sleep
U wouldn’t feel this way after a 15-20 minute cat nap or a full 8 hours

yeah, i had been going through this pretty often, sometimes my partner is so busy with his work we can’t talk until one of us falls asleep and it puts me in a bad mood bc i hate changes in routine. getting active before shower and bed helps.

Yeah no I have a bad habit of that myself but also during the night I have problems as well
Depends on how long I sleep and the quality of the sleep. At times I wake up feeling so refreshed, and at other times I wake up feeling like poop.

Have you tried napping for longer cause it sounds like that might help. I nap for 2 hours sometimes and wake up feeling fine you’re probs grump cause you need more rest
