Pedophilia and what they were doing is something you come forward about as an adult .

there was no indication in the doc that Schneider knew Drake was being abused before they pressed charges

the case against the pedophile (Brian Peck) had already started by the time Schneider knew about it. Peck was arrested publicly, but Drake’s identity as the abused minor was hidden in the case. but Schneider concluded it was him, asked Drake about it, Drake confirmed, and then Schneider supported him throughout the trial

the “nuance” i was referring to (although probably not the best word for me to use) is that some people (like Drake) can legitimately say that Schneider was a protective figure whereas others can rightfully call him predatory. that’s part of how he got away w all that bullshit
