yes i’m aware that there are far too many guns but when you have w country where no one does anything about poverty guns are more of a danger than anything else.

countries where gun ownership succeed are ones where the quality of life isn’t bad and that ben then countries that banned guns or restricted them heavily have shown there to be a decrease in gun crime.

But the guns people use in crimes usually aren’t legitimately bought. So they’re getting them illegally on the street. How would banning guns stop them from getting guns illegally if they already have a working system of getting them illegally?

Gun bans stop regular civilians from having guns to protect themselves. Not gangs and criminals. IMO.

guns in the past mass shootings in the us have been bought legally. there was an undercover showing how easy it was for a 14 year old to go to a gun show and buy guns.

the US government has had a hand in the way guns have spread into communities so it’s not completely that criminals know a workaround...

otherwise other countries where guns are banned or heavily restricted would have more of a problem.
