It’s not done for engagement. My professor retaliated against me and I’m just making people aware.

Also, my professor misled me prior to our meeting. I could have explained the code if he told me beforehand what we would be discussing. I had only messaged him regarding missing points from my project, however, he proceeded to interrogate me regarding old assignments.

Thank you! I’m going to get the situation fixed and transfer out. The African American office told me that UVA professors do things like this all the time to minority students.

I submitted the exact same assignments last semester and I did not receive any sort of feedback indicating that there were issues with my submissions.
The associate professor only went and deducted points from my submissions earlier in this semester, after I called out his errors in grading my final project.

Update: I have a meeting with the Dean and he’s going to hear my side of the story. He’s the only person who can fix this situation… I pray this works

However, the TA did not grade my project correctly and I confirmed this with numerous staff within UVA. So I met with my associate professor and he proceeded to belittle my understanding of irrelevant assignments instead of fixing my project.
When I went to meet with the associate professor he started pulling up my old assignments that I scored highly on and asking me how I “understood advanced material considering I can’t explain the work.” He kept bouncing around various topics, interrogating me, asking if I cheated, and kept trying to prevent fixing my score on my project. I feel like he’s trying to imply that I can’t do the work and I’m cheating despite having a 98% in my programming assignments.
He wanted me to explain each assignment I submitted in detail despite no other student being able to do this. The he proceeded to tell me that he may or may not fix my grade depending on what he “feels is right.” I’m just wondering if I should fight this case or just drop out because it seems like they do things to hurt the success of minorities.

I need a c- to go to the next class. I would have had a c- if the professor who isn’t even Ny real professor, didn’t go back and change my grades from earlier in the semester. He claimed that my assignments were graded wrong despite my actual professor saying grades were final. Hope I have a strong argument.
