Kagemusha never clicked with me then I realised I'd been watching the 160 minute version the whole time, I think if I saw the full 3 hour version it'd work better, but there's still amazing stuff in there

yeah the scale was kind of mind blowing at times lol
like near the end with the armies on the mountain and just all of those war sequences
s*** was crazy, reminded me of lawrence of arabia with the scale
