Treat art as art.
It’s really not that deep. How many times do you have to watch a movie before you can have an opinion on it? How long do you have to stare at a painting to take in all it has to offer? The museum is only open for a couple more hours. The album is 44 minutes long. I could’ve listened to it like 30 times by now, but I’ve only listened like 3 times. Even then, I think that’s enough listens to formulate an opinion and ranking. If I end up changing my thoughts somewhere down the line so be it. How would I ever know what my “final” thoughts are on it? What if I die tomorrow Zack?
