come to think i dislike a lot of things about every kendrick album and i think the least amount of 'dislikeable' things he did was on tpab

GNX above mr. morale is crazy talk

Nah the truth is that for many people it just didn’t click on a music level. I know I still can’t get into a bunch of the instrumentals or delivery of Kdot on that album specifically. I always tell people I respect it more than I actually enjoy listening to it. Personally I think I even prefer Overly Dedicated mixtape to Mr Morale. It’s still a good album because it has a few gems and the content is great but it would be pretty much bottom tier in my ranking if it’s based on overall enjoyment

It’s always so funny seeing people rank TPAB super high and then UU a lot lower, since it’s pretty much from the same era of sessions

Overly Dedicated is incredible, has his best intro ever. Heart pt 2, not on streaming tho sadly

Pretty solid list but there’s no way Real isn’t worse than Compton. Real is pretty much unanimously the most boring track on GKMC. Compton was always underrated AF to me. Bombastic instrumental, Dre feature, just a perfect victory lap like ending to a classic album

Haven’t given GNX a thorough listen

Depends on how you rate an album. Replay value is a big factor and even though Morale has alot of catchy sounds, the subject matter for a whole double album is heavy to reguarly play front to back

GNX really taps into the earworm of the listener. Like he says so much s*** on here thats super catchy, and its a concise listen. And he still has some layered s*** with songs like Man at the garden and reincarnated

I actually had a tough time picking between real and Compton so you’re pretty on the nose

i'd probably have a hard time ranking but just wanted to say that Kendrick Lamar EP is super underrated.
