Y’all let too many niggas under a certain age get away with making bullshit and no one wanna try so no one sticking around the way the names you mentioned did
Ageism will be the death of rap. Letting niggas who literally have underdeveloped brains control what is and isn’t cool is beyond unsustainable
AI will take over and bring music into a golden era in about 5 years time. We’ll be listening to The Beatles synthpop and Frank Sinatra drill
30-32 isn’t old lol
In the context of being a rapper and especially with the subject matter of most of the list yes it is
We’re not talking about day to day life here
Same applies to sports. You’re not retiring from the nfl at 65
40 is not old
You’re just saying that because Lil Wayne is in his 40s
Rap following rock's path. We're at about the 90s rn
love to see it, hella old heads got a chance to make it now

30 something is not old anymore, because like others have pointed out if anything it's more a reflection on the mediocrity of new rappers. And I hate to say this, but it's a bit cringey how obsessed you are with age. And It's very weird that you took time to actually compile a whole list to keep track of rappers' age and turn it into a thread. That's very insecure behavior.
Socially the average person/listener doesn't care about the age of the artist whose music they like. Especially in other genres. Again I think it's a whole nother issue that you derive a sense of self esteem from something that doesn't even effect you.
This feels like a personal hang up you are senselessly trying to police and project onto others around you. Music isn't a physical sport that relies on physical health and youth to maximize performance. Their content may not always correspond with what you deem as age appropriate but how is that an indictment on a genre. How is a 20 year old Drill rapper singing about murder any more appropriate than french montana talking about the ho he slept with.
People go through different things at different times and that seems like a concept that you can't wrap your head around due to some underlying social construct you measure your acceptability by.

so who you listen to? cause jayz is 53... and this site's idol is 45
