honestly another one that people don’t think of

Not only with how something like Broke Boi fits into that “nothing has sounded like this before” but how he/Uzi/gunner stahl/ian came with a whole new aesthetic and overall vibe of peripheral rapper content

One of the best albums ever no bs

  • A little more niche but Black Kray more or less started the meshing of trap and alt aesthetics that’s so popular nowadays

  • Quasimoto too. No one’s made an album quite like the unseen

Basically between him and uzis music and look, ian connors styling and gunnerstahls pictures they basically created whats now the “clout/fashion rapper” aesthetic.

When music as a whole shifted to a more online approach those dudes literally shifted rap culture online to what it is now.

    Exactly this

And its even crazier bc i doubt they even realized/paid attention that they were doing that but now its damn near impossible to create a new subculture/aesthetic like that

I started to think of it following archive pages and notice how much they recycle the same few eras/types of pics

Facts literally uzi and carti were the first I seen to have fan pages almost as big as their real accounts

Those archive fashion ig accounts had the first wave of soundcloud rappers in a chokehold. Literally only dressed in archive cause of ian connor and carti lol.

2018/19 carti aesthetic has fed multiple families atp lol so many of these little underground dudes cosplaying as that era of him it’s actually comical. Even crazier that people actually buy into it too lol I give people way too much credit cause the s*** they support is beyond me 😂
