Tried to name some from different eras. Honestly Kendrick just doesn’t rank even in my top 30. Like I said, he’s still a great artist and I always look forward to his releases

That's my point. Let's take personal opinion out of it.

If you ask those people who you consider elite in either emceeing or rapping and the majority of them tells you that Kendrick is elite in both then I don't see why you're pushing back so much.

You might not personally like his style of rapping but him being elite is a validation of skills from his peers.

I know plenty ppl that don't like illmatic but to say it's trash is not living in reality.

There is no way..hov, Eminem, Drake, earl, Talib, 50 cent, common, Lupe who are All professional rappers say that Kendrick is elite and you start pushing back as much.

At that point it's easy to say.

The whole thing is that I never said Kendrick was trash. I never even made it seem like my opinion was fact. All I said was that I don’t find him that technically impressive and you all jumped down my throat.

I don’t care about co-signs. GOAT rappers co-sign wack s*** all the time, whether its business motivated (considering how commercialized the game is today) or because they don’t want to seem out of touch. I’m not saying this is the case here, but co-signs mean nothing to me for that reason. Aside from that, just because a rapper I admire thinks Kendrick is elite doesn’t mean I automatically should. That’s some clone s***. If I don’t find him impressive I don’t understand how another rapper would change my opinion
