    Joey Badass.

    Not saying B4.DA.Money was a classic but the energy building into the project before the delays was pretty crazy and if he executed in timely fashion instead of releasing the filler tapes like Summer Knights I think it wouldve been received way better.

    Feel like the energy was divided up and it couldv'e all went to one place.

    I still think 1999 is a classic mixtape though.

    Summer Knights a filler tape?? Never felt that way to me just felt like his second project. I think it helped instead of going full throttle with an album or to wait for three years until his album actually dropped.

    I mean in a way, yeah. Not saying it was bad.

    It was just an EP full of unclearable songs. 17 song mixtape ends up being a 7 Track iTunes release.

    1999 -> Pro Era Tape --> Summer Knights --> B4.DA.$$

    Fans waited a year for Summer Knights..and then 2 more years for B4.DA.$$

    It was good music but it came off as a "take this in the meantime" thing for me.

    I'm just saying, I feel like there was a period he could've capitalized more because of the specific trends going on at the time that eventually were on their way out by the time he was dropping LP 1.

  • No mention of Jay Elect? Lmao that’s how bad he f***ed it.

  • Frank multiple times but only bc there was no actual album drop
