Mozzy peaked like a year or two ago. Everyone was slapping that s*** back then like crazy in the bay. Don’t really hear him as much anymore. Tbh all my bay homies on that Detroit wave right now

They had like a couple million views on this and some other songs in 2013 when that was a way bigger deal than it is now

Production was kinda like a fresh twist to boombap and the lyricism was on point imo coulda been NYs new sound but their production just got worse and they stagnated dont really know why tbh

I have to throw in Flatbush Zombies.

They are literally in the same boat.

Keef. He went downhill after his debut

Of all the Chicago niggas I didn’t think Durk would be the one. I have rondonumba9 and even Montana 300 going further it’s nuts.

    Slim the Mobster.

Dre had him and Kendrick ready for the Aftermath rebrand, but Kendrick took off and he didn't. I thought he'd be like Game 2.0. And this was like the first feature P did, fresh outta jail.

It's true. Dude could have been huge, but he wasn't bout that mainstream life.

2012 Keef was dope to witness. At least until he left Curtis in the desert lmao.

Durk was always my number 2 after Keef. Those fully autotune records he used to drop were so catchy.

Rockie was so boring. All he had going for him was being a chicago artist during the great chicago era of 2012
