He was p disillusioned and jaded about music following blank face reception, and he was trying to like make something for “real people to like” not just nerds because blank face was critically acclaimed but ppl didn’t show up to shows and it didn’t sell that much

Even in interviews at the time u can see he was mad when he spoke about music and it seemed the wind was kinda taken out of him

I don’t necessarily agree with this but I think Q got an exceptional discography, with his only real miss being CrasH Talk.

He got the 2nd best discography in TDE after Dot imo.

I guess SZA would be #2 because CTRL and SOS are classics, but LANA was just ok to me.
