drake did some weird s*** in the public eye, whether innocent intentions or not it was weird and people were making jokes long before kendrick rapped anything, i think thats fair game

i think the wife beating allegations, the s***trafficking, the daughter s*** etc thats where it starts to become a bit silly and less "genuine", like do you (the rapper) even believe that yourself?

I agree, wouldn't really work on other artists. But I still think its a weak attempt, yes the bars were good and if Drake did have a daughter hidden or a known daughter its still a tough verse. But I just don't want to see beef devolve into making fake claims hoping you might get proven right.

i made a similar point to @NoFace and i tried to keep the "west coast rap" style out of the equation. i can give a couple specifics in a bit but theres a few notable bars/flows in this song that are practically mimicking Kendrick, a bit past just using the "west coast style".

i attribute it less to vaughan riding kendricks d*** and more so just that kendrick has been popping obviously and of course all rappers take inspiration from others.

red bull cypher was cool but i personally really dislike when content is marketed as a freestyle/cypher/etc and its just pre-recorded with the artists trying to lip sync it to make it look "live". makes me angry.
