We not f***ing with Miguel after he gave us:
Do You
All I Want Is You
Sure Thing
How Many Drinks?
Quickie
Why have we turned on him?
What is he missing?
@THE_FILLMORE come thru.
Who said we aren't?
I got hella pushback for mentioning Miguel in that "Frank vs Weeknd" thread and mentioning he outperformed them as an R&B artist during when all 3 and Alt-R&B/Neo-Soul were all huge.

He’s not as experimental as the other two have been so they don’t respect his artistry as much.
War & Leisure is a great album
I think his best is Wildheart. That album is genuinely perfect.

I'd say Wildheart was anything but conventional.
i’m not emotionally investing myself into the sentimentality behind miguel songs and neither is OP and we can all agree on that
cool bro 5 songs
Does he have bad music? Can you list songs you don't like?

he’s not bad but once again he has nothing that is consistently on the scale of quality that frank makes

Damn you don't really think he's close at all? I respect your opinion of course but I'd argue they're in effect both first-rate artists.
I can't imagine current music without Miguel.

OP of the Miguel thread for 2 sites in a row checking in.
That's one of my GOATs.

Giving it another spin, but once again he doesn’t have the “artistic merit” the other two have shown and is considered a more traditional act. As a result, he doesn’t enter the conversation.

it’s very easy to imagine music without miguel lol
a lot of his music is pretty shallow
his songwriting is nice but to say it’s anywhere near what abel and frank do is absurd
