I’m in the mood for some freaky s***. Lore books, psychoanalysis, first hand accounts etc.
I want it all.
actually books on real life occult’s? or just books thet have occult’s in them?
for the latter i recommend checking out HP Lovecraft discography, i recommend Shadow Over Innsmouth or Call of Cthulhu since they actually have cults worked into the story compare to his other stories where they”re mentioned but not really included within the plot
the book of symbols:
about archetypical images so it kinda combines the occult and CG Jung
if youre interested in jung (prob the most "occult" psychoanalyst) maybe try reading "man and his symbols"
its pretty much Jung for the casual reader
another cool one from taschen:
pretty much about everything esoterica and occult. from kaballa to alchemy and it has very short and easy to read texts to every picture

Actually own this
I’ve gone through a few of his stories.
His early stuff is definitely, uh, hit or miss lol
Do plan on reading At the Mountains of Madness soon though.

oh yea early stuff aint all that until he gets into his u know what hes known for Lovecraftian s***, but theres still gems I love the ones where u see his original Ideas coming from while still retaining the heavy Edgar Allen Poe influence like rats in the wall. I read Mountain Of Madness I found it one of his harder stories to read along I guess reread it a second time, prob help me understand and enjoy the story much more
I got this one think its missing a few stories, I need ya that s*** looks nice
