I got a friend who is ps5 cult and all year I been telling him this . He hates game pass and thinks it loses game developers money . So I said “ aight don’t login to Netflix or hbo max ever again “

For money that you outright save with game pass for the cost of 3 games a year you get a slew of games and online service which cost money on both sides

That’s not how money works

If you spend $180 a year on games, after 10 years you have $1000+ of games that you can sell, possibly more depending on how long you held it

If you spend $180 a year on gamepass, after 10 years you spent $1800 and own nothing

But game pass you play significantly more games and with the amount of deals and glitches no one is paying full price every year . Will ps5 even be backwards compatible with all those disc you got saved or will you have to beg them like this time to play games you own ? What will be the point of playing them again ? Most of those games will only go down in value they aren’t cartridges . They aren’t limited editions . We still have the option to buy games

So don’t watch squid games wait til you can own it on bluray

There weren’t even more than 3 great Xbox exclusives this past year, so i wouldn’t have played more than 3 games if I had signed up for gamepass
