I’ll always recommend the holy trinity of a rice cooker, air fryer and crockpot all of which have a low entry price these days

  • A bit over 50 but having a blender is pretty cool

probably a lot of lighting stuff:

    • 2700k lights
    • lamps (no more big overhead lights)
    • one of those light attachments for your monitors that shine light right at your keyboard

Hell, yeah, I feel like lighting is something we use so regualarly that’s really underrated/undervalued/overlooked all the more so now that the technology for like , smart bulbs and s*** can let u control the stuff from your phone etc.

    You have those Phillips bulbs?

i think they're dope af. most ppl alr spend hours every day looking at a screen I cant take em serious when they say they dont fw e-ink displays and only read on paper like okay then whats with your 6hr screen time on phone??? plus im too poor to buy all the books i wanna read AND ion like waiting for s*** to be available at the library. when I wanna read a book I want that s*** asap. can have a new book ready to read in like 5min thats peak right there

Yeah meant to get around to replying to this, I used a free Adobe app and libgen and was reading like 4 books a month before my old computer conked out... I had a bad habit of eating dinner while watching tv or movies and was able to replace it with reading (albeit still a screen and counts for screentime)

Gonna look into something used like you mentioned

All good suggestions, but I seen someone say "hottake : your oven can do everything your air fryer can do" and now I can't get that out my head

To you, what's the biggest selling point?

there’s a skin care thread with a ton but mine is

panoxyl 10% cleanser - $8 used by madison beer, madeline kline, and kim kardashian, if you don’t have acne issues cetaphil daily or gentle cleanser both great for cheap and used by naomi campbell, pharrell, and gigi

good science beauty 003 hydrating face cream for $25 on ebay is the best moisturizer i ever used but cerave AM facial lotion is great too zendaya uses it

neutrogena sunscreen that’s zinc free for whatever the mineral is every damn day doesn’t matter how light or dark your skin is or how sunny it is you gotta use it

i use a few other things and tretinoin at night but what i listed is my backbone and all you really need i think everyone should use retinol at night once they turn 25

Hell yeah, I have a higher end one I use for data processing but I got it from bauersystems (sells refurbished computers etc w warranties) for a good price all in all for it's specs

I need to retrieve my hard drive from my old Lenovo ideapad (replacing the battery was real easy) but I can't tell if I should bring it somewhere or just open it up. Been putting that off lol

    Game changer imo

I just moved to io3 toothbrush and find it better than oral B pro's. The one I have lights up to tell u if you putting the right pressure...I still switch to manuals too but I can't live without electric now

I mean to me it’s the convenience and versatility. Conventional ovens/fryers are a pain and I think the food quality is good and arguably sometimes better. For $50 I’d say it’s worth it especially if you want to spend a bit more and get a combination like air fryer/conventional toaster combo or air fryer/pressure cooker combo (that’s what I have atm)
