    I always see people dissecting snares and s*** but I’ve never been that type. Of course I can tell when a beat is good or trash but I just love bars, flows and song concepts etc.

    Demons is gonna continue to age really well.

    I wish he took the verses seriously on No hittas. That beat is just immaculate.

    Obviously its not a C2 or C3 but its definiletly a Carter album and Im really glad it was. He could definiletly made a better project overall but i doubt it would sound like a carter album like it does. It is one of the most personal wayne projects and I feel like it is really such an important album for wayne fans.

    man this aged well. fire album imo. like everyone says prolly shoulda cut it to the best 16-18 tracks but there’s really no straight up skips which i feel all the others have

    It was just something about his delivery that was off.

    Carter V is easily 3rd best Carter album in my opinion. Only problem I have on this album was how many songs he put on it it could’ve been classic if he would’ve put 15-17 tracks on it

  • classic, record breaking album, outsold/outstreamed yall favs. Great production, great lyrics, great flows, great music.

  • It's okay. He lost his ear for good hooks and production starting with this. Bars are always there

    They're pretty equal to me. C5 obviously has the better rapping, but it's a tad bit too long and it lacked a real "hit"

    C4 despite its many flaws has s*** like 6 Foot 7 Foot, She Will, John, President Carter, It's Good etc.

    C4 was a real moment in hip-hop. C5's release ending up being a bit underwhelming.

    Agreed. C5 only had Mona Lisa
