what does cold water do that room temp doesn’t? Or vice versa
I've heard that cold water is bad for your kidneys
Yeah well how the f*** do I do that. Air goes up through my nose and goes back out
No cap, I've been trying since I opened the thread and I don't think I'm doing it
Trained myself to dislike cold water altogether. People look at me like I’m crazy when I reject ice water lmao
i can respect this but sometimes nicely cool/borderline cold water is truly just sensational
How can I tell where I’m breathing from
I want to breathe from my diaphragm, but I’m not sure how to change where I’m breathing even if I needed to

Nah i definitely fw cool water just not ice cold unless it’s extremely hot
Could seriously save your life, decrease anxiousness and best of all, have intercourse far longer
what do you mean belly up not your chest
what does this mean
someone post a gif
your lungs are in your chest though how does one breathe through a belly

Yeah that's why I was specific with the temperature. Literal ice water is usually uncomfortable. I ask for no ice when I get water in restaurants coz of this. It's usually crazy cold water anyway!
And in winter its room temp water basically all the time tbh
nah wait so I know a lot of people chest breathe or mouth breathe but how do some people not know how to belly breathe....
Through your belly makes it sound like there are lungs down there lol
google where your diaphragm is bro

chest breathing
belly (diaphragmatic) breathing
u gonna have a lower baseline level of anxiety/stress if u stop chest breathing. not saying u have anxiety or anything, just like physiologically this will just happen. you should be belly breathing basically 24/7 unless your heartrate is up coz ur moving or exercising or w/e. it taps into your nervous system n everything

breathe downward instead of upward, inhale with your abdomen

you don’t gotta lay down but watch the video above
the next step is to practice some hypopressive breathing in the morning before you really eat anything
real breathers know
Puff your stomach down and out while you inhale. Only practical way I could get it, not something that’s explained well tbh

not sure about kidneys but I think its not good for your digestive system or something

you cant imagine how non-informative this is for someone who doesn't know how to do that if anything over the years it only made me more anxious bc I have trouble breathing and ive been hearing about 'proper breathing techniques' and allat but there are no resources that people could point me to and no specialists in that area that I know of

nah youre good im used to this s***. at least youre not one of those a****** trainers at my gym constantly talking about 'youre not breathing right' during exercise like I KNOW BRO STOP
yeah I think I know people who sing in choirs and teachers who talk about speaking and breathing through diaphragm as to not stress their vocal cords

up until like 2020 i didn’t even practice this so i wasn’t suprised to see so many people itt asking how it’s possible
i even had coaches who would tell us we should only be taking one breath from the baseline to halfcourt when doing conditioning.. he never mentioned that this is only possible breathing through your diaphragm first not chest lol
