RE4 remake gameplay would go so hard with a few tweaks for a splinter cell reboot

They gotta take this engine/gameplay and do some shameless asset flips I would love new stories/games with this gameplay.

5 and 6 deserve a remake. There’s an opportunity for capcom to correct some major mistakes and deliver the ultimate versions of those games. If they capitalized on this, the whole mainline franchise would become flawless

I think I have said this before but 5 is definitely going to get a remake. It is like a top 5 seller for Capcom and I think it was 2 the last time I looked but it’s probably been years

I'm playing 5 on PS4. Not bad at all and still playable but it's frustrating to play solo. Definitely some QOL changes they could make

The story is way too wacky and fairytale like for resident evil universe. Fun gameplay but the story is way too unbelievable and ridiculous even for how crazy resident evil can get. Ain’t no way the mold gonna give a nigga magneto powers

I didn’t dislike it at all but I agree with the poster above me. Story has somewhat jumped the shark and when I feel that in a RE game well… I don’t consider that a good thing

The gameplay was still solid, built on great bones as always. I didn’t love the enemy variety, designs.

I still enjoyed it, short game so no reason to avoid if you are into the series.

See I don't really care about stories in video games my thing is always the gameplay and it's just the most fun RE game to me moment to moment

4 both og and remake does everything 8 does but better by 100000

Yea I appreciate the direction they went with 7-8 at the time but I’m hoping they’re moving on. Hopefully from 1st person too.

looking back at it, 8 honestly just feels like it was testing the waters to see if the public would get hyped for a 4 remake lol. 8 is basically similar to 4 in every single aspect if you really think about it (narrative, environments, structure, gameplay systems, etc). its just in 1st person and not in 3rd.

8 was the 7.5-8 out of 10 game they needed to make in order to make 10/10 4 remake

2 is more straight up survival horror, 4 has a lot more action involved but both are incredible experiences
