You lack vision i'm afraid. Souls games are more terror and tension inducing than a lot of actual horror games. If someone can actually combine both they'll make an terrifying game

Plus if you watched the TLOU2 making of doc, they said initially the game was going to be like bloodborne because you can create a lot of tension that way.

Also Elden Ring sold a LOT, an open world souls horror game would be unique as f*** and fit RE incredibly well.

Being like Alan Wake 2 doesn't sound like the evolution of the formula like they're promising at all, but who knows.
