got fatigued from playing these games back to back but i just need to finish 8/Code Veronica and then eventually play 0, 6 and i would have effectively finished every mainline resident evil game

Been replaying the entire series out of order. 7 up until Lucas is INCREDIBLE then really falls off a cliff. 8 is so ridiculous idk why or how they agreed on the concept it is way too fantasy for RE

First, the director or whatever came on the game awards talking about how they didn't have anything new to show for the next resident evil but to wait a lil longer, then they revealed it like 5 mins later, then the Leon thing lol. I'm like I could tell they were gonna still show re9 in that show it was too heavily rumored and they still had one more game to end the show I knew it had to be that

Exactly lol... Now the question is... Who else is in this game besides the main chick and Leon? Is Ada Wong there? Maybe Claire Redfield as well? What about Chris Redfield? And I guess Umbrella is there too since their logo was shown... But what about the BSAA? I guess that will be revealed during The Game Awards 2025 or during January 2026 as they said there will be a Resident Evil 9 showcase which should reveal a lot of stuff since it'll be very close to the game's release so they better show us a lot of good stuff without spoiling the game though!

Ugh still so anxious to know more about this game and why Jeff Keighley said he was so amazed by the "scope and ambition" of the game when he got a sneak peek a year before they announced it. Those aren't terms usually associated with this franchise.

After last of us part 2 man, that s*** set a new standard campaign wise I don't care why nobody say. I hope this s*** is more epic. It can still be resident evil don't get me wrong in fact it better be. I just hope it's more epic. How, I'm not sure necessarily but I do want more open ended environments (not the whole game of course as tight corridors are a staple) but just something that feels like more of an actual journey I guess.
