We get some populated city gameplay looks like.

Man they are so tight lipped about this and it seems like there is so much they haven't shown. But several leaks have suggested there will be open levels and Leon will be able to drive his Porche(wondering how they will make the driving segments fit/feel fun tbh).

I remember Geoff saying at the first premiere of the game at the game awards that he was really impressed by the scope and scale of the game so that tells me this will definitely be a big game. If it was just a normal, traditional linear RE game I'm sure he wouldn't have used those words. Definitely know it's not going to be open world and I wouldn't want it to be as this franchise works better without it imo, but some larger more open areas with some exploration will be a welcome addition. I can't wait till this drops man just to see what they actually came up with.

Correct me if I’m wrong; all they’ve basically shown so far of RE9 is the usual tight limited corridor environment that we’re used to seeing in horror games, which goes against what Geoff was saying about the grand scale of this game..
Yeah Capcom is definitely holding back

  • I love the undersell and surprise when the game releases type marketing

  • Unpopular opinion: I liked Re3 remake better than Re2 remake

Hmmm. I’ll wait for it come out first then

One of the biggest RE insiders says that the game is apparently longer than Village and just a bit shorter than 4 Remake.

Also there’s apparently supposed to be more emergent gameplay, dynamic AI and interactive environments.

I’m guessing a large zone of field where the interactions have some trick that makes it feel really tightly choreographed

  • Demo

  • WE IN THERE.

Also, as an aside, anything new on the RE movie? They still filming?

  • Man they are holding back so much about this I got the feeling. This finna be epic

  • ignoring it all, no trailers and demos from here on out. there’s only so many moments like this I want to savor it, I’ll be back to share my thoughts in feb when this drops

Feel like this game will either be in the upper echelons of the series given it’s apparent ambitions and the experimentation with the different play styles, or it’ll be the first major (mainline) misstep since 6 because it’ll end up being an mechanically incoherent mess with absolutely f***ed pacing issues.

It is hard to imagine how they can reconcile the two characters’ segments without creating a whiplash effect, especially given the fact that they have equal dedicated playtime (as opposed to say Leon’s segments being something that crop up every once in awhile to add a bit of variety a la the Ashley segments in 4 remake).

    currently playing re2

i feel ass at this game, why do these zombies eat so many bullets, what am i supposed to when they have a hallway overran i feel like my movement is poor

  • I've been in a rut gaming wise. Playing Ghost of Yotei is an average to decent experience. But hoping RE9 gives me that can't put it down feeling.

Make them bullets count, once you get to the lab it’s going to be a b****

so i should just ignore them and funnel them out the way most of the game

I heard beforehand that these zombies are bullet sponges. If you can board up the windows do yourself that favor. Also, I think you can also shank the meatheads while they're down? Just to make sure their dead. I'm not sure yet
