Saw a reaction comment saying this is basically 'Resident Evil 4-2':
-A continuation of Leon being an action-filled supersoldier
-And the Grace sections being glorified Ashley Graham sections (this time with some combat)
Personally I don’t see anything wrong with this, but Geoff Keighley did claim that this is the most ambitious RE game to date at its world-premiere reveal and that it boasts the biggest scale ever in franchise history;
I was hoping this RE Showcase would show more of what makes this entry particularly revolutionary for the series, and tbh it didn’t really give much of that impression..
Not tryna be a debbie downer here, I’m blaming Geoff for setting these expectations
You play as Ashley for a ground total of like an hour in 4.
just copped the deluxe edition with no hesitation i fear
They keeping the game secret man. They've already shown glimpses of open town environments and Leon's Porsche will most likely be drivable. It's a big game they are just saving it for players to play
Hmm in a Resident Evil game though?
A drivable vehicle didn’t fit Metroid, and it most certainly won’t in RE as well tbh.. We shall see.

Leon had boat sections in re4 remake. It's probably an evolution of that.
Leon gameplay looks GLORIOUS
RE4 vibes are back
Tell em. Niggas so busy complaining about product placement they not even seeing the gameplay they did show lol
probably means nothing but re5 remake next plz....
Really hope we get previews at the very least soon so we can get impressions on how the game balances the two characters.
Honestly I’m starting to get the sense that it’s actually the first person mode that’s more “tacked on” as opposed to the third person.
The amount of dedicated animations for third person, with the game literally switching from first to third for a lot of them, and the fact that the cutscenes are all third person leads me to believe that third person is probably the way to go tbh.

I think it's pretty obvious from what they've shown that grace's sections are gonna be tuned for FPS, Leon's for TPS
yea this peak
'K-pop' and the word 'peak' are like oil and water
Are RE7&8 in the same timeline as this game or the older ones? I’m pretty confused. I thought those games were soft reboots

I guess they’re kinda reboots but they’re still part of the main timeline, so still in between 6 and 9

Leon’s been through the wringer fr.
thing that got me worried is the black stuff on his neck

hope they dont axe my goat.... 💔

7 is a soft reboot in the sense that it gave the series a second wind but theyre still in the same timeline as the older games

It’s crazy tot think this series was on its last legs after 6, thriving right now especially if this game is solid
