i can't shake the feeling of disappointment after learning that the game is kinda short. i was thinking since there are two different storylines and characters that it would be a bit longer tbh. i hear all the arguments about how RE games were never that long and that less is more sometimes but still
result may depend on what type of gamer you are but this is why you play these games on hard mode
my first playthrough with re4 remake took like 20+ hours on hardcore mode, perfect game length to me, i wager this game will be around that too
It's typical RE length. RE is made for replaying, basically.
Yeah aside from Souls, Resident Evil games are really the only ones I do multiple runs of like immediately. New difficulties + challenge runs and s***, and all the unlockable stuff. They're so replayable.

idk mate feels like you’re inventing problems with this
the longest in recent memory was 4 remake at 20 hours and this is supposed to be 15 hours
someone spoil me if the game goes
Resident Eeeeevil in that spooky voice when you press start on the main menu. they dropped that but with this being a culmination type game it would be cinema if they brought it back
If they do that the game is too scary and I won’t play it
Going to be out of town this weekend. Leaving early tomorrow
Trying to decide if I get this digitally so I can play right at midnight for a bit
Or
Just get is physically on the way home Sunday
Tough choice

I went a weird direction with it. I’ve been all digital since Xbox one came days but recently started switching back to physical
Started to see the value of it with the PS5. Getting games that already came out mad cheap, and also being able to re-sell them / trade them in for some money back is a nice bonus
Got two $70 games in the past month for like $65. So basically got two for a the price of less than 1

With how bad I am at puzzles, even if the game is only 10–15 hours long, it’ll probably take me 25–30 hours to finish anyway.
If I’m not mistaken, this will be my first new game on my 5090. I’m definitely turning on path tracing and seeing if I can lock 120 FPS with DLSS. I kind of wish Digital Foundry had dropped the PC breakdown instead of the console tech review first. No offense, but most people buying consoles dont care for graphics.

Ps telling me im 82% done….
SLOW DOWN
Stop and smell the zombies

If every platform had steams return policy id agree. If im playing on console id rather get the physical

i know the nominal critiques of having a digital library, but having been on both sides of the equation. (and loosing all my physical games, in a pretty spectacular fashion) I feel like digital is the move

zWORMz had a 5090-5060 benchmark video up yesterday that got taken down by Capcom. He had a 10 min footage limit and made a hour long benchmark video
5090 needs FGx2 and dlss quality to get 120 at 4k PT on, but you can get a steady 60 just using dlss. Path tracing seems like the way to go, looks considerably better even over the normal RT.

Same. I still think physicals are cool but digital is just way more convenient and it saves space. Just had to let go at a certain point
I still have some s*** saved that I'm too attached to give up tho
